ABOUT THE AUTHORS:

J. Frank Rudisill, Ph.D., has been associated with Quality Associates, Inc. since 1988. Frank previously worked as an internal consultant with Milliken and Co., in the operations research group. He has more than 30 years experience helping companies improve measurement systems and laboratories.

E. Earl Burch, Ph.D., is president of the consulting firm, Quality Associates, Inc., and Professor Emeritus of Business Administration and Mathematical Sciences at Clemson University. He has been involved in all phases of quality management and Six Sigma training and implementation and has published extensively. He is a member of the Institute of Management Sciences, American Society for Quality Control and the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
